A requirement of Week 4 #INTE5665Fall19 is to return to the EduChatCalendar and participate in an education chat on Twitter. As I peruse the list, I find a few chats of interest. On Wednesday, 11 September, I first chose to participate in #digcit (digital citizenship), only to find all the tweets appear to be marketing or promotion of one group or another and each tweet contained multiple hashtags. Too bad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moving on, I decided I would try #ESCIchat (Earth Science\/GeoScience). There was no recent tweet activity, and all of the most recent tweets were from the same person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I will continue my search for an education chat that interests me, but as of now, it isn’t looking good. So far, my opinions about Twitter are not changing. I just haven’t found “my niche” yet, I suppose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
