In this course we will spend our time both thinking about and using social networking and media tools, technologies, and environments to extend our learning and professional development, and to involve our own learners in learning opportunities that involve social networking and media. We will investigate what it means to be members—and for our learners to be members—of various media-making and information-sharing digital cultures and communities. To this end the activities and projects will not only focus on production but on participation and contribution.
